How to Play Holi Rummy:
Objective:
Arrange your 13 cards into valid sequences and sets before your opponents do. A valid declaration requires:
At least 2 sequences, one of which must be a pure sequence (no wild card/joker).
The remaining cards can be arranged in sets or sequences.
Gameplay Rules:
Dealing: Each player gets 13 cards; the remaining cards form the draw pile, with one card placed face-up as the discard pile.
Turns: On your turn, draw a card (from the draw pile or discard pile) and discard one unwanted card.
Jokers: A random card is chosen as the "wild joker." All cards of that rank (any suit) act as jokers. Printed jokers can also be used.
Holi Special Rules (Optional):
Color Bonus: If you complete a sequence in all suits of one color (e.g., Hearts & Diamonds for red), earn extra points.
Festival Joker: During Holi events, special "Festival Jokers" may replace any card.
Declaration: Once your cards are arranged, declare and show your sets/sequences. If valid, you win!
Scoring:
Losing players get penalty points based on ungrouped cards (face cards = 10, number cards = face value, jokers = 0).
