Introduction to Rummy Bharaty
Rummy Bharaty is a popular variant of the classic Indian Rummy card game, blending strategy, skill, and quick thinking. Designed for 2–6 players, it follows the traditional *13-card rummy* format, where players aim to form valid sets (groups of same-rank cards) and sequences (consecutive cards of the same suit). The game is widely enjoyed for its fast-paced gameplay and cultural appeal across India.
How to Play Rummy Bharaty
Objective: Arrange all 13 cards into valid sets/sequences, including at least one pure sequence (3+ consecutive cards of the same suit, no joker).
Setup:
Use 1–2 standard decks (with jokers).
Each player gets 13 cards; the remaining cards form the draw pile.
Gameplay:
Draw/Discard: On each turn, pick a card (from the draw pile or discard pile) and discard one to the pile.
Jokers: Wild jokers (randomly selected) and printed jokers can substitute any card.
Winning: Declare your hand by forming:
1 pure sequence (mandatory) + 1+ valid sets/sequences.
Example: Pure sequence: ♥7-♥8-♥9; Set: J♠-J♥-J♦.
Scoring: Face cards = 10 points, number cards = face value, Aces = 1/11.
