Introduction to Rummy Mass:
Rummy Mass is a fun and engaging variation of the classic Rummy card game, designed for multiple players. It combines strategy, skill, and a bit of luck, making it a great choice for game nights with friends and family. The objective is to form valid sets and sequences by drawing and discarding cards, ultimately aiming to declare your hand before your opponents.
How to Play Rummy Mass:
Setup:
Players: 2-6 players
Deck: 1 or 2 standard decks (including Jokers, used as wild cards)
Cards Dealt: Each player gets 13 cards (for 2 players) or 10 cards (for 3+ players).
Objective:
Arrange all your cards into valid sets (3 or 4 cards of the same rank, different suits) and sequences (3+ consecutive cards of the same suit).
Gameplay:
Draw & Discard:
On your turn, draw a card from either the closed (unseen) deck or the open (discard) pile.
Discard one unwanted card to the open pile.
Forming Melds:
Pure Sequence (Mandatory): At least one sequence without wild cards (e.g., 4♥-5♥-6♥).
Sets or Sequences: Additional sets (e.g., 7♠-7♦-7♣) or sequences (e.g., J♣-Q♣-K♣).
Declaring:
Once all cards are arranged into valid sets/sequences, declare by placing your final discard face-down.
Opponents verify your melds. If valid, you win the round!
Scoring (Optional):
Losing players count their unmatched cards (face cards = 10, A = 1, number cards = face value).
Jokers carry 0 points if used in a meld.
Winning:
The first player to declare correctly wins the hand. In multi-round games, the player with the lowest total score wins.
