Introduction to Rummy Meet:
Rummy Meet is a fun and engaging card game that brings friends and family together. Based on the classic Rummy rules, it challenges players to form sets and sequences with their cards, testing both strategy and luck. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, Rummy Meet offers hours of entertainment with its simple yet exciting gameplay.
How to Play Rummy Meet:
Objective:
Be the first player to arrange all your cards into valid sets (groups of the same rank) and sequences (consecutive cards of the same suit).
Setup:
Play with 2-6 players and a standard 52-card deck (plus Jokers).
Each player gets 13 cards (10 if playing with 2 players).
The remaining cards form the draw pile, and one card is placed face-up to start the discard pile.
Gameplay:
Draw a Card: On your turn, pick a card from the draw pile or the discard pile.
Form Sets/Sequences:
Set: 3+ cards of the same rank (e.g., 7♥, 7♣, 7♦).
Sequence: 3+ consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., 4♠, 5♠, 6♠).
Discard a Card: End your turn by discarding one card to the discard pile.
Declare "Rummy": Once you arrange all 13 cards into valid sets/sequences (with at least 1 pure sequence—a sequence without a Joker), you can declare and win the round!
Scoring (Optional):
Face cards (J, Q, K, A) = 10 points.
Number cards = Face value (e.g., 5♦ = 5 points).
The winner gets 0 points, while others sum their unarranged cards.
