How to Play Rummy Only:
Objective:
The goal is to arrange all your cards into valid sets (groups of the same rank but different suits) and sequences (consecutive cards of the same suit). The first player to declare with a valid hand wins the round.
Setup:
Played with 2-6 players using 2 standard decks (including jokers).
Each player gets 13 cards (10 cards in some variations).
The remaining cards form the draw pile, and one card is placed face-up as the discard pile.
Gameplay:
Draw a Card: On your turn, pick a card from either the draw pile or the discard pile.
Form Sets/Sequences:
Pure Sequence (Mandatory): At least one sequence without jokers (e.g., 4♥-5♥-6♥).
Sets: 3-4 cards of the same rank (e.g., 7♠-7♦-7♣).
Impure Sequence: A run with a joker (e.g., 8♣-Joker-10♣).
Discard a Card: End your turn by discarding one card to the discard pile.
Declaring/Winning:
Once you’ve arranged all 13 cards into valid sets/sequences (with at least 2 sequences, one pure), you can declare.
If valid, you win the round! Opponents get penalty points based on their ungrouped cards.
Scoring (Optional):
Face cards (J, Q, K, A) = 10 points each.
Number cards = Face value (e.g., 7♦ = 7 points).
Jokers = 0 points.
