Rummy Royal: A Classic Card Game of Skill and Strategy
Rummy Royal is an exciting variation of the traditional Rummy card game, combining strategy, skill, and a bit of luck. The game is played with 2-6 players and uses two standard decks (including jokers). The objective is to form valid sets (groups of cards of the same rank) and sequences (consecutive cards of the same suit) to declare your hand before your opponents.
How to Play Rummy Royal:
Dealing: Each player receives 13 cards. The remaining cards form the draw pile, and one card is placed face-up as the discard pile.
Gameplay: On their turn, a player must:
Draw a card (from the draw pile or the top of the discard pile).
Form valid sets/sequences (e.g., ♥7-♥8-♥9 or three Kings of different suits).
Discard one card to the discard pile.
Jokers: Wild cards (jokers or randomly selected wild cards) can substitute any card to complete a set/sequence.
Declaring: When a player has formed all 13 cards into valid sets/sequences (with at least one pure sequence, e.g., 3+ consecutive cards of the same suit without a joker), they can declare and win the round.
Scoring: Opponents receive penalty points based on ungrouped cards in their hands. The game continues until a player reaches the predetermined score limit (e.g., 101 or 201 points).
Rummy Royal is a thrilling blend of quick thinking and smart planning—perfect for casual and competitive players alike!
