On their turn, a player must:

Meld (place valid sets/runs face-up, if desired).
Discard one card to the discard pile.
Jokers can substitute any card to complete sets/runs.
4. Winning:
The first player to arrange all cards into valid sets/runs declares "Rummy" and wins the round.
Opponents add up their unmatched cards’ points (A=1, face cards=10, others=face value).

March Rule: If a player declares Rummy without any prior melds, they earn bonus points.
