Introduction to Kash Rummy

Kash Rummy is a popular variation of the classic Indian Rummy card game, often played with real cash prizes, adding an extra layer of excitement. It follows the same basic rules as traditional Rummy but with slight modifications to suit competitive and fast-paced gameplay. The game is typically played with 2 to 6 players using one or two standard decks of 52 cards plus jokers. The objective is to form valid sets (three or four cards of the same rank but different suits) and sequences (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit) to declare your hand before opponents.

How to Play Kash Rummy
1. Setup
Players: 2 to 6

Decks: 1 or 2 (including printed jokers and wild jokers).

Each player is dealt 13 cards. The remaining cards form the draw pile, and one card is placed face-up as the discard pile.

2. Objective
Arrange all 13 cards into:

Minimum 2 sequences (at least 1 pure sequence—a run without a joker, e.g., 4♥-5♥-6♥).

Remaining cards can be sets or additional sequences.

3. Gameplay
Draw & Discard: On each turn, pick a card from the draw pile or discard pile, then discard one card.

Jokers: Use wild jokers (randomly selected at the start) or printed jokers to complete impure sequences/sets.

Declare: Once all cards are arranged, press "Declare" and submit valid sets/sequences.

4. Winning
A valid declaration earns points based on opponents’ ungrouped cards.

If a player declares without any valid sets/sequences, they get a penalty of 80 points (max penalty).

5. Scoring (Points Rummy Style)
Face cards (J, Q, K, A) = 10 points each.

Number cards = Face value (e.g., 7♦ = 7 points).

Jokers = 0 points.

The winner collects cash based on opponents’ total points multiplied by the pre-decided rupee/point value.
