Go Fish is a fun and easy-to-learn card game. It is typically played with 2 to 6 players using a standard deck of 52 cards. The goal of the game is to collect as many sets of four cards of the same rank as possible.
Betting
The game starts with each player receiving five cards (or seven if there are only two players). The remaining cards are placed face down in the center as the draw pile.
Rummy
The player to the dealer's left goes first. On their turn, they ask any other player for a specific rank of card, such as, “Do you have any 7s?” If the asked player has one or more cards of that rank, they must hand them over. The asking player then gets another turn.
Rummy
If the player does not have any cards of the requested rank, they say “Go Fish,” and the asking player must draw a card from the draw pile. If they draw the card they asked for, they get another turn; otherwise, their turn ends.
Winning the Game: The game continues until all the cards have been drawn and all the players have formed their sets of four cards. The player with the most sets of four wins!
