Build more than one exit
Near the finish, the best rack has several legal ways to empty. Avoid a plan that depends on drawing one exact tile unless there is no practical alternative.
A practical method
Watch which numbers and colours other players repeatedly use. This does not reveal their whole rack, but it helps estimate whether a planned table opening may also help an opponent.
Apply it at the table
Before placing the final tiles, verify the whole table. Speed matters less than completing a legal finish.
